Shipping & Delivery

We offer FREE express shipping Australia wide on all orders!

When selecting your Hire Period please choose a start date 1-2 days prior to the date of your event.

Your item will be sent express and should arrive on or before the start of your hire period.

Hire Period

We offer a 4 day hire period.

The hire period runs from your selected start date to your selected end date. For example, your item will arrive by Friday (day 1 of your hire period), and you are required to post the item(s) back by Monday (Day 4 of your hire period). In this example, both Friday and Monday are included in the 4-day period.

If your 'Return Date' is on a Sunday, you can post the item(s) back on the Monday as post office's are closed.

Returns

1. On the last day of your hire period place the garment back inside your reusable mailer.

2. Attach the pre-paid postage label that you received upon the arrival of your item.

3. Lodge your parcel over the counter at an Australia Post office.

Please ensure that you lodge your parcel over the counter and retain your lodgement receipt. Placing items in the 'red' or 'yellow' post boxes voids the insurance and may result in additional fees for late or lost returns.

In the event that you lose your pre-paid label please contact us at contact@eastcoastdresshire.com as soon as possible.

Garment Care

We will en-devour to package the garments carefully so that creasing is minimal. If the garment does crease during transit you can lightly steam the item with a garment steamer on a low/cool setting.

TIP: If you don't have a steamer, hanging the garment in the bathroom whilst having a hot shower also works. The steam from the shower will help to remove the creases.

Due to the delicate nature of the fabric please do not attempt to iron any garments.

Please do not wear any shape/boob tape whilst wearing our rental items as this can cause significant damage.

Artificial tan may be worn at your discretion. In most cases, artificial tan can be removed during our dry cleaning process. However, any permanent stains resulting from artificial tan may result in damage fees.

Dry cleaning is taken care of by us at no extra cost to you! There is no need to dry clean the item, simply return 'as is'.

Try On's

At this stage we are an online only platform and unfortunately do not offer try on's. Measurements for each garment are provided under the 'Size Guide' section of each product page.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 7 or more days before the start of your hire period are eligible for a store credit.

Store credits are valid for 12 months and will expire if not used within this period. Once the credit note is used on a new booking, the sale is final and not subject to any changes or cancellations for another credit note.

East Coast Dress Hire does not offer refunds for cancelled orders.

International Hire

As much as we would love to offer our hire services to those overseas we are unable to at this time.

Our garments are available to hire within Australia only.
